Timothy James Youldon (September 24, 1987 – December 19, 2020)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy James Youldon of Whistler, BC on December 19, 2020 at the age of 33.
Tim is survived by his mother, Darla, his step-father Alan D’Orsay, his brother Greg (Megan Pezzetta) and his step-siblings John and Brooke D’Orsay.
He was predeceased by his father, Jim Youldon on October 19, 2000 when Tim was 13 years old. He was also predeceased by his grandparents Ernie and Trixie Youldon of Niagara Falls and Earl and Peggy Capell of St. Catharines, ON.
Tim’s aunts, uncles and cousins will all miss him. His aunts and uncles include, Debbie Biller and Steve Capell both of St. Catharines, Shelley Newman (Gerry) and Carol Vormittag all of Niagara Falls, Sandi Lorito (Frank) of Fort Erie and Barry Youldon (Marie) of Burlington.
His cousins include, Rory and Patrick Biller, Corey and Candace Capell, Stevie (Al) Sleight, Cally Newman and Ginger (Russell) Smith, Brooke and Miles Youldon, Jason Vormittag (Christine), Julie Chambo (Tim), Jody Lorito (Ashley), Joyceln Lorito (Jessica) and Bethanney Lorito.
His close friends in Whistler, Emilie Massicotte, Anton Gray and Grant Aitchison are saddened at the loss of their friend.
Tim was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario. His kind and friendly nature made him a magnet for friends. He was always warm-hearted and more concerned with the welfare of others than himself. He was, what you would refer to as a gentle and benevolent soul, a person with compassion.
He studied business at St. Mary’s University in Halifax with many of his Nelson friends who also headed east.
He loved watching movies of all kinds. A big part of his life was playing and watching sports, especially his favourites; baseball and hockey! A diehard fan of the Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs, he loved the opportunity to attend a game in person, especially when his dad was alive.
A friend got him interested in long distance running and no problem; he trained and finished several marathons. He worked at Burlington’s Surf Paradise for more than 11 years, a job he loved and was known for in the community. He enjoyed paddle-boarding with Surf’s Steve on Burlington Beach. He also was passionate about snowboarding which led him to seeking out opportunities and adventures in Whistler.
His mom and Grampa Earl introduced him to fishing at a young age and he was “hooked” you might say. Fishing with Grampa at Lake Nosbonsing, with Cam at Sioux Lookout, with Greg at LaSalle Marina, with family on our annual houseboating adventures on the Trent Waterway system and finally with his friends at Alta Lake in Whistler – anywhere to fish!
We will all miss this gentle, tender-hearted soul with his laughter and that fabulous smile that would light up a room!
