Tom Rivett passed away peacefully on February 5, 2019 in Squamish General Hospital after a brief illness with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife Sandi,
daughters Stacey (Chris), Shelley (Jim) and four grandchildren. Tom was a phenomenal ball player in his younger years, loved watching his grandchildren grow up and play their sports and took great pride in his garden.

A celebration of his life service will be held at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of fl owers, donations can be made to the Squamish General Hospital

Sandi, Stacey, Shelly and family, my sincere condolences on the passing of “Riv”. Just remembering the “good old days” having a beer in the Chiefton Hotel or the Avalon in Northvan after a ball game, or tournament. Usually celebrating a win! Could never understand how we could go into a tournament with one pitcher and win it all, but we had Tom ,and he was all we needed! I am sure that his right arm had to be at least 3”to 4” longer than his left when his ball was over! Just want you to know that Tom will be missed by us all ! Lefty Hendrickson
