It is with tremendous sadness that we acknowledge the peaceful passing of Pille Leonfellner on May 6, 2020 In Squamish, BC.

She is pre-deceased by her mother (vAlvi), father (Jaan), brother (Runnar) Konze and her beloved husband Alois (2015).

Pille was very proud of her Estonian heritage. Born in Talin March 17, 1937. She left Estonia in 1944 and spent time in Augsburg Germany before coming through the port of Halifax, Canada in 1949.

She came to join her brother who was living in Timmons Ontario. Pille married her husband, Alois, in Toronto, they moved from Elliot lake to Labrador city and then to Belledune and finally settled in Bathurst NB.

She had a tremendous zest for life enjoying golf, bridge and travel. She owned an H&R Block franchise for 37 years.

She will be sorely missed by her children and their partners (Suzanne and Bruce); (Perry and Bonnie); ( Nina and Simon) and step-daughter Renate Steger.

She also leaves behind four grandchildren who were the light of her life; Celina and Fiona Abba and Alexandra and Heath Tappin.

The family wants to thank all the physicians, nurses and lab staff l for the excellent care provided over the years. Also a big thanks to her loyal friends and family who provided support and laughs over many years.

A very special thanks goes out to anyone who has donated blood, the family would ask that you continue to do so, as it is very important when fighting illnesses. If you haven't donated blood before you can go to the following link to find out how. https://myaccount.blood.ca/en/donate/

Sincerest sympathy to Pille’s family. She and I had many good times together when I worked for H&R Block. Her beautiful smile and up-beat personality will be missed by many. RIP my dear friend.

Most sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the late Pille Leonfellner's beautiful children and families. Pille and I shared the same pain as both of our husbands were afflicted with the Parkinson disease. My husband passed away Oct. 11/2015. Pille was our right hand preparing our income tax, always professionally and accurately with her ever present beautiful smile. I worked as a secretary for Dept. Heads at the Smelter and Al was one of them. Wonderful memories to be cherished. Our deepest thoughts and prayers dear children.

To Suzanne, Perry and Nina and all partners and grandchildren,
At this very sad time and Covid 19 complication of our lives I wanted to send you my heartfelt sympathies and condolences on the great loss of
Pille. We go back a long way to Belledune days as neighbours and I think of those days with happiness.

Matthew, Victoria and I were remembering all the good times we shared in Belledune, from egg nog at so many Christmases, to New Years with
all the theme parties at Youngs. Remembering how elegant and stylish Pille was always, in the bitter cold of winter in Belledune I remember seeing
her put out her garbage in a fur coat, now is that stylish or what. She was a beautiful person, from her sparkling blue eyes to her enthusiasm for
life she gave great joy and love to all around her. She had a good marriage with dear Al and a lovely family who did her proud, how lucky were my
family to live next door to her. She was always there for us her house was our house and mine the same for her. I really appreciated meeting up
with everyone at the service for Al in Bathurst in 2015 and it was special to me that she came to my Party at Youghall Beach last August.

We remember the good times and all the joy our loved ones bring, they are forever in our hearts.

From Jean, Matthew and Suzanne Street, Victoria and Kevin Hall.

much love from Jean, Matthew and Suzanne, Victoria and Kevin

I will miss Pille visiting Suzanne in Fredericton and the opportunity to play bridge with her again. She was an extraordinarily positive and upbeat person to be with and I so enjoyed her company. I feel very honoured to have known her. All the best to her family.

Dear Perry and Suzanne (Cookie)I am so sad that Pille has left you, and I didn’t know your father, Al had also until I read it in the Saint John news re the obituary of your mom. Pille and I shared a birthday, two days apart.. same year, we used to laugh about that. I remember you all well. Esther Hart…aka Essie Erb of Labrador City.
