Obituary for Norma Primiani

Norma Primiani

May 6th, 1938 - May 2, 2020

Norma passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of May 2nd, just 4 days shy of her 82nd birthday. She left us a little sooner than we thought, but it seems it was time for her to embark on her next adventure.

A world traveller for most of her life, Norma was open hearted and open minded to all those she met. An extremely loving woman, who devoted all her time and energy to her Family and Friends, and her Faith.
We all feel the sadness of her passing together.

Daughter of Giovanni Primiani and Louisa Fiorilli of Italy, she was the youngest of 4, sadly having lost her 3 big brothers over the last few years, whom she loved dearly.

Her legacy lives on in her children, Paul and Lisa, for whom her devotion and love knew no bounds, her beautiful nephews and nieces, whose lives she had the joy of sharing in, and affectionately, her grandchildren, who miss their Nonna very much. She, and they, were fortunate to have shared a daily life together for the past four and a half years. She also holds a very special place in the hearts of her life long friends, with whom she cultivated a sacred sisterhood of friendship.

Please join us in remembering and honouring Norma.

We are so very grateful for all of the care Norma received while living in Squamish. We'd like to thank her medical team, all of the doctors and nurses that cared so kindly for her- she spoke of you often :). And a huge thank you to the Squamish Hospice, whose delicate care at the end, brought peace and relief to all.
