We are with great sadness to announce the passing of Kathy Roop on October 8, 2021. She passed away in her hospice room under the passionate care of her doctors and nurses. She was a true superstar throughout this difficult journey. Kathy had a deep love for arts and crafts and for her birds and cat nutmeg. She was truly at peace at the Squamish hospice with family and friends that came to visit her. She loved to go out into the garden where we would sit, talk, and pick roses. We want to thank all the doctors and nurses at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Squamish Hospice, also all of her friends and neighbours for there love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sea to Sky Hospice Society and Squamish SPCA are welcome. We love you so much Kathy, you will be dearly missed.
