Isidoro Lee Boscariol:
May 29, 1926- August 8, 2018.

Isidoro is the eldest of five siblings, one brother and three sisters. He is predeceased by two sisters, Hilda and Lundy. He is survived by his brother Willy (Anne) and sister Marg Candy. Isidoro also leaves his wife of 64 years, Bernice. Four children, Dino (Jeannie), Guy (Randi) ,Claudia (Butch) and Mark Armstrong (Jim). Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great great- grandchildren. Isidoro was a wonderful father and grandfather and he loved all of his children.
Izzy had a great sense of civic responsibility for Squamish. He was elected as an Alderman in April 1965, and served in that capacity until the end of 1974. He was elected Mayor in May 1979 and served until November 1980.
Izzy worked in many different industries such as the pulp mill at Woodfibre and the PGE railroad. He then worked in the forest industry mainly in Squamish, the west coast of B.C. and Alaska. In 1957 Izzy,his brother Willy and Dick Olson formed the small logging company Castle Rock Logging Ltd. They worked together until 1978 when Izzy retired.
Izzy enjoyed gold panning and travelling with Bernice in their motor-home.
Funeral services for Izzy will be held at the Squamish Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 18 at 1:00 P.M..
