HAROLD TORLIEV HALVORSON
DECEMBER 19 1930-FEBRUARY 15 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Halvorson. Harold is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 64 years their five children Gail (Dale) Olaf (Gloria) Tina (Leonard) Susan (Rick) Keith (Della), 14 grandchildren Heather, Brittany, Loni, Andria, Christene, Stephanie, Ken, Christopher, Danielle, Dustin, Jennifer, Ricky, Scott, Trevor, and 16 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his best friends his brothers Norman and Thor (June) and special cousins Karen and Harvey (Grace) and numerous nieces and nephews along with family in Norway. Harold is predeceased by his sister Viola in 2006. Dad will be forever remembered for his quick humor his generosity and his love for his dog Bonnie, neighbourhood, home and family. The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Jamison and the staff of the Squamish General Hospital for the excellent care that was given to Dad during his final days. A celebration of life will be held at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park 39645 Government Rd Squamish BC at 2:00pm Sunday February 24 2019.
