Obituary for Hamid Shikoh Taimuri
Mirza Hamid Shikoh Taimuri, second eldest son of Hajra Sultan Begum, great grandson to Bahadur Shah Zafar and Muhammed Shikoh Taimuri, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Hilltop House in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Teresa Ureta Estioko-Taimuri; his sons, Alexander and Akber; daughters, Yasmine Diedrichs and Zarina Weekes; daughter in law, Kelsey Taimuri: son in laws, Nathan Diedrichs and Donovan Weekes; grandson, Benjamin Chesters and granddaughters, Asiah Donald and Neiah Weekes.
Hamid is also survived by his brothers; Javed Taimuri, Jehangir Ashraf and Pervez Ashraf and his sisters; Nighat Khan and Mumtaz Shah.
Service will be held at Squamish Funeral Chapel, presided by Iman, Ali Sobhani, on February 5, 2019 at 10:30 am, followed by the internment at Mount Garibaldi Cemetery at noon.
