Obituary for Emil Gaspar
Emil Gaspar passed away at Squamish General Hospital on July 7, 2018. Born in Toronto, Emil worked for Peter Kiewit Sons across Canada and the United States for 38 years. He retired in Squamish after working on the Sea to Sky Highway improvement project.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (Peggy); his daughter, Kim of Saskatoon and son Peter (Rosalie) of Hamilton, and his grandchildren, Seth, Charis, and David and step-grandchildren Denise, Denzel, and Dheanmore; his brother John (Judy) and sisters-in-law, Betty and Irene and their families.
A memorial mass will be held a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Squamish, or charity of your choice.
