Obituary for Edmond Wong

Edmond "Eddie" Wong was born in Vancouver, BC. Growing up in the 50’s began his love and eclectic taste for music, a rock n roll spirit, a rebellious nature, and his natural fashion sense.

In the 80’s, Eddie moved to N’Quatqua in D’Arcy, BC, and then Pemberton, BC, in the early 2000’s. Eddie was well known everywhere he went and showed kindness and generosity to all First Nation and non-First Nations.

Eddie worked many different jobs; most notably, as a server and bartender at the Marble Arch & No. 5 Orange, a Wildland Firefighter with the D’Arcy Heatseekers, and most recently, at the Pemberton Valley Supermarket. His smile, quick humour, and helpful nature will leave a lasting impression.

A talented musician, artist, and avid lover of the outdoors, Eddie excelled in his guitar skills and drawings, and could often be seen on the trails biking or hiking.

Eddie passed suddenly on December 2nd at the young age of 67. He was cremated on Dec 11th with a small family service.

Eddie is survived by his parents, 2 sisters, 3 children, and countless friends, colleagues, and extended family. He will be forever missed.

His family would like to thank everyone who helped Edmond. And to express our gratitude for sending condolences and sharing memories to lift our spirits. We appreciate those who have donated time, funds, and goods to help with the services and future memorial. We are forever grateful and will hold you within our hearts.

A celebration of life to honour Eddie Wong is being planned once it is safe to do so. Stay tuned… 🎸
