Obituary for Stuart (Stu) Alexander Lemcke
It’s with great sadness that we tell you we have said our final goodbye to our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Stuart (Stu) Alexander Lemcke. Born February 25, 1935
Stu is survived by wife Shirley, children Margaret (Jesse), Donna (David), Rob (Leah), Patricia, nine grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Stu moved to BC as a young man and made Squamish his home with his young family in 1965. He spent many years as a driver/salesman for McGavin’s Bakery and later owned and operated several businesses in Squamish.
Through the years Stu made many friends as a member of the Howe Sound Curling Club and continued to enjoy the game from the comfort of his chair.
He will be missed by many.
