Obituary for Alice Viola Woods
Alice Woods (Nee Simm) January 28, 1930 - February 14, 2021 Alice was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and lived in Elm Creek, Manitoba with parents Joe and Hazel Simm and sister Josephine. Predeceased by husband Barry. She is survived by her son Randy Woods (Bo) granddaughter Monica (Pete), great grandson Finn, granddaughter Angela (Matt) great granddaughter Hayley. Daughter Debbie Hughson (Hal) grandson Anthony (Alisha) great granddaughter Destiny and great grandson Robert, granddaughter Rebecca (Randy), great granddaughters Eva and Sara.
Alice and Barry moved to Squamish in 2010 to live with their daughter Debbie (Hal). Alice lived the last 5 years at Hilltop House Care Home in Squamish where she passed peacefully. The family would like to thank all the staff at Hilltop and Dr. Miller for their passionate care. Alice struggled with mental illness most of her life and is at peace now.
